I am a basic member, and I was curious about trying out the premium membership before my current membership expires in September. If I paid for the upgrade now, when would it start?

Would I have to finish out my current membership before it would activate, or would it start immediately? If it does start now, would that push my basic memebership out a month (or however long I pay for the second upgrade)?

Your current membership would deactivate and stay with your account until you cancel the premium. Then it would reactivate :D

You will probably have to log out completely using the button at the bottom of the menu bar on the left and then log back in. This will activate all the new features of the upgrade.

Thank you. I'm still debating upgrading. My college budget is a little tight.

I can understand that. I just thought I'd mention this little quirk. A lot of people have had to ask, "I just bought an upgrade but the special features are still grayed out." Or words to that effect. So I wanted to let you know that there is an easy fix. *G* If you need it.
