When the snowflake gene was released, I took the opportunity to create the horse of my dreams.
I created him with a theme in mind, all his foals will have colours that remind me of autumn leaves in my favourite beech forest, where I grew up. The whole season, from early golden leaves, to the first touch of frost and snow when winter comes.
Since Tolkien created the Mallorn trees of Lothlórien with beech threes in his mind, I have given the line names from his world. (Well, most of them are yet unnamed, that will be work for the new year).
