Sabino 2 or W3 Stud?
  • I would love to add Sb2 and W3 to my lines, but only have a few choice 2g mares. I do not have access to straws, so i am looking for a foundation or 2g stallion (colored black or chestnut) with the sb2 gene (if i can, homozygous), as well as for the w3 gene (same request please) to use for LC.

Half of my mares have frame or w20...i know frame is lethal but i havent become too familiar with w20 and its effects.

    thank you for your time!
    bravo
  • Bump! :)
  • Since you know what you want color wise, you can look it up in the search and send those players a message. That's what I do :) And it usually works out well

  • Okay thank you! I just wasnt sure if that was an okay thing to do, to message other players about their horses. I didnt want to be a pest to someone who might not be selling straws or interested in offers from their horses!

Thank you for your time :)
  • No problem! I feel it's always ok to ask because the worst they can do is say no :) Hopefully you get what you're looking for!

  • Just touch a bit on the last part of your post, W20 kind of acts like a clone of the white gene that is on the other kit. So if you have a Sb2 and W20 horse, it should look like a Sb2 and Sb2 horse. This can become dangerous with lethal white because it amplifies the other white gene. Frame does also add to it, even if only one parent has it. My best advice it to look at the horse's portrait. If you see a lot of white, be careful about adding any more genes that cause white to the mix. I hope you can find what you are looking for, happy breeding.
