New Exciting Job!
-
Hello all! Just thought I'd post in, I have a new job! Which means I will be moving almost interstate, but not quite. So unfortunately will not have much computer time to play.
But I am going to be working as an artificial insemination technician at a friesian/warlander stud farm, so very exciting times! I think I will also be on foal watch, as well as handling their yearlings and 2yos. My new boss sounds lovely and said potentially it could be a trial for a riding position of her well trained friesian stallions. Luckily I get to bring Bastian, my own young friesian sport horse, don't think I could ever leave him behind.
Looking forward to learning a lot and will be back playing when I can. Take care all!Post edited by Balmoral Aus at 2014-10-26 01:39:31 -
Wow, that sounds an awesome job! Congratulations!! Where are you working?

Is that the one near Ballarat?

That's great news! It sounds like a challenging, interesting job. Good luck with it.

Thanks guys! It's going great! I've learnt so much about artificial insemination. I'm now their full time rider competing their friesian stallion, Hotse at medium level. It's at Raven's Lodge Friesian Horses, we've got three foals on the ground this season and we're expecting 4-6 foals next season. :)
Got heaps of photos of Hotse and I, I'll try and jump on the comp to upload some!Thanked by 1Redbud -
Thanks for the update. It sounds like things are really working out for you there. Congratulations on the riding position. I hope you will have a chance to post a picture or two. *G*Thanked by 1Balmoral Aus
