can some one tell me when the straw that Ammit gave us expires?

As quoted from the announcement post:
"Every member in the game has been sent a straw from horse number 5mill, Mr. Marvelous Milestone, to celebrate. Straws must be used NEXT YEAR. They will expire after that. "
So they have to be used BEFORE January, since the new HJ year starts then.
