    I might be selling off this boy, but I have no idea if he is worth anything at all...
    Can someone please give me some ball park figures :) He is a cherry drop

    He might go for quite a lot since cherry drop is a new herd helper (and homozygous DP). I saw one go for somewhere between 1 and 2 mill. the other day. I'd go for a forum auction :)

    Create a post in the Horses for Sale and Auction category. Make sure that you mention that he is a Cherry Drop stallion in the title.

    Set a starting bid price. I'd suggest somewhere between 5 and 10k. Give a format for bidding in the post. Something like this: Stable name - ID number - Bid.

    Post the auction and see what happens. To keep better track of progress, click on the little star on the right of the thread to bookmark it, so you'll be notified about all the activity for your auction.

    I find I have the best results if I leave the starting bid open for the first player to choose rather than picking a price that players may find too high priced. A higher starting bid may only get one or two bids but a low starting or open bid may result in a bidding war that ends up much higher than a high start point.

    Don’t forget to post an end time. Some people end an auction within a day but for best chances of a larger number of people seeing the auction having it end a few days or week away is best.

    Often players set the end time to being after the auction closes (8:30pm game time: Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday) so that people will have some extra cash laying about without time to spend it
