Well, great 24 hours. Most recently my aunt texted me that there's no evidence of disease for the small cell lung cancer she's been in treatment for since June, YAY! She's been having side effects from the chemo she finished earlier this month, hopefully that wears off soon.

And I saw my local dressage show organizer was in dire need of someone to run the in-gate at the Halloween schooling show this Saturday, so I said I'd do it. Today the schedule came out and I saw one of my old friend's is going to be showing, I texted her mom and apparently a few of the other girls from the barn we used to ride at will be there. We "split" when the barn got a new trainer 2 years ago and I'm so excited to see them all again! Volunteering here is also a good opportunity for me to put feelers out for starting lessons again or getting a horse to lease again.

In other news, the barn I used to ride at kicked its trainer and their clients (an entire barn) out a week or so ago, the community of horse friends I have is shook. I am shook. No idea why yet but I'm sure the gossip will be thick this weekend.
