If you have a basic upgrade, how many times per breeding season can you make an embryo from the same mare? I know I can make an embryo and then live cover the mare, but if I wait before covering her, can she eventually have another embryo made?

You can pull an egg after 5 days, so if you pull on the 1st, you can pull again on the 6th, and so on. I do that through the season, and then either do a mass flush or live cover at the end of the season.

No, what Maribo says is for a premium upgrade, they can collect eggs. A basic upgrade (which I have had for years) you can only create 1 embryo a year from a mare, and then live breed her after that. Not more.
I tried to back this up with information from either the advanced breeding lab or from the FAQ, but i see there is no information on this (yet).

I have a basic upgrade and after a few days (can't remember how many you have to wait but I think it's at least 5 or 7 days or something like that), you can make another embryo. Am I misunderstanding what the question is?

See this mare, last season she had three foals. I wanted to make more embryos but forgot oops

@Nefer oh really? I always thought you could only make 1 embryo and 1 live cover. I'm gonna test it now!

I've created an embryo, and as expected the mare dissapeared from the list. I will try to check everyday if I can make another embryo!

If this really is true that would be amazing, I have so many mares that I would like more foals from than the max 2 per season I thought it was!^^

Yes, the mare should show up on the list again in a few days. Can't remember how many days, sorry! I usually come back in a week to make another embryo and as long as I haven't live covered the mare, she shows up again. It could be just five days! :)

It's probably on the 6th day after you have created an embryo or pulled an egg.

They dont disappear from the list, they are loved to the bottom. It also says how many days untill you can pull again next to their name.

@Maribo the mare I used for testing (and other mares I created some embryos from but not bred after that) are not on the list anywhere, not even at the bottom.
Maybe they'll reappear after a few days? I'll keep watching them.

Huh, no, mine are there as soon as I have collected an egg.

They only appear down the bottom on the pulling egg page, on the embryo page they disappear. I assume the horses name will come back though after 5 days

I checked today and I could make another embryo from the mare I used for testing.
So this confirms that after 5 days the mare reappears on the list and can make another embryo if she is not live covered.

Yay I'm so glad this is possible, I have so many special gals I wished I could get more foals from, but now I know I can! :)
