Gene help
-
Yet again I am looking for some input.. this time I am wondering what I need to change in order to make this guy a Liver red dun. I would keep him as a buckskin but him being a liver would fit my breeding program alot better. He is homozygous KP, DP, and ND1, Het S+, KitM and SpM.
Thanks in advance for the help!

As the name says, a liver red dun is a red based horse. So you'll have to change his EE to ee to make him red. I'm not sure if he has some DP already, when you want to make him a liver he needs to have either two sooty genes (which he has) and at least one copy of DP or 1 sty genes and two copies of DP.
For the dun to show up in his color name I think you would have to change one nd1 to D, as being Dun is dominant.
Hope this helps!HJ1 160524
