What goes well with Watercolor?

I just made this Watercolor stud, I’ve added Ice 1 to him already but I’m deciding if I want to add anything else since the all gene sale is still going on. What are some of your favorite combos with Watercolor? I probably won’t add anything too pricey, any genes $15 and below each are fair game!

I’m thinking of either giving him another copy of Ice 1 or a copy of Nexus

Maybe another Ice gene for variety? Either way he’s stunning! I wouldn’t do homozygous Nexus though as that would probably cover up the beautiful colors. Not positive, but I wouldn’t risk it lol!

Yeah I would only add one Nexus if I did, he’s too pretty to cover up! Looks like I have a tough decision to make :(

What about snowflake? Only needs 1 lp to show but needs to be Hom SNF to show so at $7.50 for each, that's $15!

I thought about Snowflake, but don’t you need 2 copies for it to show always? That’s the only problem, since even if he’s homo SNF I don’t have any mares with it so it would never show on foals :((

I have to agree, no Nexus because that will cover up the Watercolor.

I like Ice with Watercolor... I have a couple on HJ2 that are WC/ice and you get the best if both genes that way
