    What genes actually make a horse brindle? Idk if this is a stupid question haha I’m obsessed with them but really wonder how they become brindle! :-))

    Brindle is not able to be genetically bred for like say a grullo or Dun because brindle is when a foal absorbs their twin in the uterus so getting a brindle foal is kind of hard, you can get a brindle foal out of 2 non brindle horses too but having 2 brindle parents does increase your odds for a brindle foal

    Even with 2 brindle parents, the odds of getting a brindle foal are very small. If you love brindles, the best way to get them is through the brindle rank special herd helpers.
