Ouch!
I’d want to cry, too. Why? Why is it always the prettiest ones?! :(( -
Ow ow ow that hits me where it hurts
-
Wow....I need therapy now...puppy therapy.
-
If it makes you feel any better I clicked a dark chestnut HH and accidentally closed it :-((
-
Oh, my lord, she's gorgeous! I'd probably be boosting her! My bank hates me by the way. :))
-
I'm seriously contemplating that 5% boost to be honest!
-
Definitely! I think she's too pretty to just be a show.
-
Eh! If you don't want to boost her, unspay her and I'll buy her for a big price and then boost her myself. ;)Post edited by bluchrystals at 2019-02-27 10:04:38

There's always next time
-
Only problem with next time is it's a long shot ever getting a het DP liver chestnut from a herd helper, let alone a hom DP liver chestnut!
-
At least with you showing her off, now I know what I'm looking for (hom dp). I've got het but definitely want hom.
-
Cherry Drop is hom DP. Freaky Friday is hom DP
-
Yes. But a normal level 1 dark chestnut herd helper, it is not a normal occurrence.
-
I've never gotten a liver cherry drop and haven't gotten a freaky Friday at all.
-
No it's not a normal occurrence. I just find it easier to wait for specific DHHs that are known to have het or hom DP
-
Blu - you'll get a freaky friday! :)
I got my girl between Thanksgiving and new years! During holidays, Ammit does advents and last years advent was full of different creates like freaky friday, dark chocolate, kings ransom, etc... then there was the blackout advent where any horse created was black regardless of what the herd helper said (how I ended up with my black pumpkin spice girl :)) and she even did a 30% off discount on barns, pastures GMT etc... it was super fun! It definitely made me more social on the game lol -
Oh, man! I can't wait! So many things I could get ! :))
-
-
Cherry Drop hides the DP since the DHH has EE. If you take the EE off, you would get a "black" chestnut.
-
I've had cherry drop mares. When I breed them to my hom sooty liver, I don't get livers. Shouldn't I if they're hom DP? Right now this is only Cherry I have, because she's a buckskin I've kept her around.

Cherry Drops are all SS (non-sooty), so bred to a homozygous sooty/heterozygous Dp; there's a 50% chance of the foal only having one sooty & one Dp. Which is definitely a bummer, but the non-livers are still Dp, just heterozygous!
-
Ah, ok. I didn't realize they weren't sooty. Hopefully this season, mine will drop livers then.
-
If you also make her ee instead of EE, you'll get your black liver!
-
Except she would be chocolate palomino because shes het cr
-
Hmm that might be enough to make me do ee and take the cream away. :DPost edited by bluchrystals at 2019-02-27 16:24:18

Join the dark side! We have chocolate here! :D
-
:)) I've gotten a few just now. I pulled all the HH and bred every chestnut to my livers. Have a few chocolates and a couple livers. Most wound up as shows, but I know who to leave in my pasture and who I can sell on. Probably should leave them all for a couple seasons, but some are so bright they just don't look like carriers.Post edited by bluchrystals at 2019-02-28 13:01:18
