Any horse can have two KIT genes, which is where many of the white patterns are. He's probably lucky he's minimal white, and doesn't have splash to add more white, as W2 with other white patterns can sometimes get an overloaded white foal which dies. He's very pretty though, interesting combination!

I looked at the lethality chart and white 2 and 8 have a Moderate lethality risk so i would say you were pretty lucky with this guy :)
