I almost never get sick but when I do get sick I get SICK
My throat has been so sore since Tuesday night, so sore I couldn't eat, drink, or talk and it was a huge effort just to swallow. I woke up wednesday trying to get into the doctor but my doctor is always super busy and couldn't see me until 4pm thursday evening so I endured horrible throat pain until 4pm. The upon arriving at the dr we found out she wasn't even in the office so we had to go to the urgent care.
Everyone at the urgent care was so SO nice but they had to draw blood to test for strep, mono, and the flu. Well since I could barely swallow and was now running a fever (100.6) I was SUPER dehydrated and finding a vein that would pop up was impossible.
Now guys I hate needles (don't ask how I have 2 tattoos...it's different from blood being drawn :)) ) and eventually the nurses had to take the blood from my hand which is the absolute worst place to have a needle stuck in. THEN they had to swab my throat twice and my nose twice. Yeah my brain got tickled haha

Anyway, I didn't have mono, flu, or strep I have a bacterial infection in my tonsils (similar to tonsillitis) that was making my lymph nodes and whole neck swell up and have fluid in them. Yuck. Thankfully now that I've been on antibiotics, Tylenol and a steriod for 24 hours I feel better. Taking in slow this weekend. Thank goodness I have off work, waiting tables and not being able to talk wouldn't have worked well :-SS

But it also means I've had more time to spend on HAJ when I'm not asleep and most of my barns are more organized because of it.
