I came back to the game fully expecting all of my (very) expensive foundation horses and their offspring to have passed but I had hoped I saved enough straw/eggs from them. To my despair, I had only saved two straws from my first foundation homozygous satin stud. This was before the Roving Gene Sale so I had scrimped and saved for this special guy and I loaded him up with most of my favourite genes. I've been procrastinating on using his last two straws, afraid that I'd end up with super pretty show horses for my efforts. Well.. the filly got spayed but the colt tested superior! I'm so relieved I can continue his line that I worked so hard for. I'm not sure if I'll unspay and boost the filly but she's super pretty.

Yay, I'm so happy it worked out for you! The same thing happened to me when I came back - I lost my account and all my very special horses (including one of the original 10 W4 foundations and one of the first Sb3 - now w8 - foundations). Ammit was amazing and was able to give me my barns back, but sadly all my horses were gone. A few players had straws/descendants that they were more than happy to share with me and fast forward several RL years later and I got my first 4G *Star entirely homebred (every horse in the pedigree) that goes back to that original W4 boy.

They may be pixel ponies, but they hold a special place in our hearts! Congrats again! It may be worth holding on to the filly and saving up to unalter and boost her?

Sharayah, I was actually worried that was what happened with my account. I fully expected to log in to nothing so I prepared myself to start over with just breeding EE riding horses and as many buckskins I could get my hands on. =)) I had a whole plan laid out and then it went out the window when I saw my freezer. I have SO MANY KP foundations! As far as the filly, I'm definitely thinking about it because she's just so perfect. I'll see how her brother does and decide from there if I can get my other GMT projects off the ground.
