I have better luck getting intact foals from the pastures but eggs and flushing gives you more chances

Mass flush, definitely. It's worth it for the extra chances

All my special foundation mares are pull mares. I pull one egg every 5 days through the season, and the last chance I get, I do a mass flush.

Yup, you can pull 6 or 7 eggs (depending on how many days are in the month) before mass flushing them at the end of the season.

I usually mass flush my really special mares for their first few seasons and then breed normally until she reaches end of life ages and then start mass flushing again. XD

It's very.. very expensive but totally worth it in terms of allowing you to get just the right genes and quality that you want. It's more of a long term plan that sort of saved my old lines when I came back to the game.
