Can someone please explain this?

I typed in the letters and numbers wrong for coloring some tack and I think I accidentally made my own colors. Is this a bug?
Here's the cape I messed up:

Nope, there’s a lot more color codes available under the system used, the ones shown on the page are just some guidelines to help steer us in the direction we want, give us a starting point.

Oh, awesome! Thanks for letting me know. :)

Since we're on the topic of colorings, what coat colors can have dapples?
(I've kind of become obsessed with them) -
Any color other than black*, grulla, and wild bay can have dapples as far as I know (although in varying degrees of strength). Colors like pearls, perlinos, and champagnes can have faint dapples when carrying DP and sooty. For bays, browns, buckskins, and chestnuts, horses with homozygous sooty can be rerolled to have dapples, and horses with additional DP genes will have even stronger expressions.
*EDIT: Silver blacks do have lots of dapples.
For example:
This horse is hom sooty with no DP, but has dapples:
Uaithnes
The exact same color but homozygous DP, dapples are much stronger:
G2 Dyrnwyn
And, 2 homozygous DP bays, one with dapples one without:
G2 Chocolate Tiger
Risen from the Ashes
In this case the horse without dapples could be rerolled under the control panel to have dapples.
Hope that all helps some :)Post edited by Heartwood at 2019-10-18 20:22:41ID: 247225

For anybody who wants to play with the tack colors, here’s a link to a good HTML color chart that I like to use :)

Awesome! Thank you people so much! :)

I remember finding out you can have different colors and was so pleased.
In that post I made asking about if there were different colors Ammit said that the number of possible colors was 16,777,216! I was over the moon when I heard that and I love and prefer to just mess with the numbers and letters to make colors. I've watched videos on how to understand the HTML system and I've got a somewhat good grip on how to get the color I want. If you want help on how to understand how to get the colors you want I'll help you. -
On the tack selection page, there is a hex color page link listed in the top paragraph. It has sliders and allows you to adjust to the exact color you want. Then just copy and paste the code.Thanked by 1Pagan

Good to know for when I do want to play with tack. I haven't bothered with tack so far because it takes time I don't have, but should I ever have the time, that's good info to know. Thanks.

I upload my horse images to this site, so I can select the right colour for feather
