Leaderboard Suggestion?
-
Would it be possible to have a separate leaderboard for boosted horses? I know it's a long shot, but the a lot of us don't have the funds to boost our horses and if you look at the leaderboards, it's a lot of the same well-established players dominating them. It would be nice to have a separate leaderboard for non-boosted (regular and exceptional creates) to equal the playing field. I strive for the leaderboards even though there's really no incentive to at the moment, but it does get disheartening when you're constantly ranking behind people who can boost like crazy.
Just my musings for this morning. I understand pros and cons to it. I really wish it could be separated by generation, but know that's impossible with uneven breeding and how much work it would probably be. -
But people priorities differently. I buy boosts instead of GMTs, because that is what I love with the game, to breed for the highest PT :)
-
I understand that, I do. But the vast majority of players can’t afford boosts like the older players.
-
But there are not much boosting except from Era 0, I just checked the leaderboards, and none of the Top nr 1 stallions in the eras other than 0 had any boosts.
I bought most of my boosts with real cash, and I just started to use GMTs last year, so I actually think it is not as unfair.. (I started playing in 2008). It is just that instead of buying genes, I bought boosts, and culled extremely strictly on breeding ability :) It is just different ways to go in the gamePost edited by Herzeloyde at 2019-11-23 07:26:21Thanked by 1ConfluenceStable -
I can't speak to the point on this server, because I have my fun/fantasy herd over here, and my main account is on the Forest server, but I almost never boost my horses, and they regularly make the leaderboards.
I really like the idea of figuring out how to get best horses with the best colors (In my opinion of course!) without boosting. I DO use GMTs...a lot. Don't ask me why Im ok with GMTs but not boosts, because I have NO idea! :P :DPost edited by ConfluenceStable at 2019-11-23 09:03:25

Haha I have several that make LB every season, but my concern is more of the newer genes. I just got into Plaid for example, but because it’s been around for many generations, I’ll probably never make LB for high PT because I’ll always be lagging behind.
-
Plaid doesn't have its own Breeders Club. It's part of the Fantasy club that has all fantasy genes in it back to Ice 1.
-
SandyCreek - I know. That's another suggestion I've made in the past. I wish the Fantasy genes had their own club. I don't even bother with the Fantasy club because I'll never make those LBs.

Boosting is why we have eras and why boosting changes your era.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )
