It's finals week for college students. :-O I mean honestly, where did the semester go? It's been a really really crazy one not going to lie.
In the first part of my semester, and close family friend passed away. I had a lot of car troubles, and over $1000 later it's looking like I'll have to go back, right before Christmas too. I lost my Bella, she was a 10-year-old Pitbull that I just adored. A lot of loss. :(
The second half of my semester has been better, but still hard. There's a lot of work that goes into Culinary school, I had to find time to do 2 events that last all day (which means clearing off days from both my jobs and a day I don't go to school).
I quit my toxic waitress job and just recently moved into a new job that I love (still serving) but it's been a huge adjustment (also have been training, which means less money coming in and less GMT work being done :(( ). Lot's of late nights since I work at a sports bar. This means during the day I'm doing homework so I can go home and go to bed.
And now that it's finals week I'm super stressing! I'm settling into my new job okay, just I still get anxious because I'm new to the menu. I'm starting up my Nanny job again, which pays well but the girl I nanny is a barn brat (I'm not trying to be mean I promise, but she is given so many opportunities and doesn't appreciate them along with the other barn bratty stuff she does too)
I'm saving up money to move out into my own apartment with my best friend, so spending is tight especially in between jobs.
I know this is all nothing compared to other struggles out there but it really has been adding up lately it seems.
BUT, I'm super thankful for this community here. I get on the game to help relieve stress and I just love this time of year when everybody is so giving (even more so than usual)! I can't wait until there's a time when I can give back :x
