Chinchilla
-
I have tried to find a description, but can't. Is someone able to tell me how chinchilla works exactly? Thank you.

Homozygous chinchilla removes the red pigment in a horses coat. So, for example, a bay will end up with grey with black points (the grey being where any darker sooty hairs would have been interspersed).
Symbolic Blaze
An ee red horse would be completely white. It would even remove the pigment from the eyes.
Push the Rabbit
And EE black would be unchanged.

I think silver black with Chinchilla adds a neat color shift to it. Since silver can cause red-tone shifts, Chinchilla usually ends up really popping the dapples.

A single copy of chinchilla has no impact on any base coat color, but it is enough to get a horse labeled as "fantasy"."Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving." - PTerry Pratchett
