I'm challenging myself this short month to try something new, and something that was part of my new year resolution

Get More GMT's!

So far I haven't done a good job. So this month, starting today, I will be using all my funds (after pasture breeding) to buy as many GMT's as I can this month. I have a few projects I want to start (and hopefully finish!) and have yet to even think about them due to lack of funds (which honestly have been going towards show horses this year). But I am making GMT's a priority this month!

I will keep you all updated on how it's going! And if you see me on the forms offering to buy horses you have my permission to intervene =)) I must be stopped from pretty ponies! :))
You are MORE then welcome to join me in this challenge! No matter if you're a big or small barn, it might be fun to look at the end of the month and see how much everyone collected!

OK, I'll play, but I will probably spend my GMT's. I'm keeping two tallies. One is GMT's bought this month and the other is GMT's used.

2/1 - 15 GMTs purchased
2/2 - 30 GMTs purchased
2/4 - 15 GMTs purchased
2/7 - 40 GMTs purchased
2/8 - 1 GMT used
2/22 - 200 GMTs purchased

.... now that I've got it all in one place I think this is almost sad lol.

@ichigo you are far ahead of me haha how do you buy so many? Is it your daily payout? I've been trying to build that up in hopes to be able to be a hoarder of GMT's too :))

Yeah, I get 750k a day and I've been auctioning all of my inconsistent 10yearold+ horses. I have over 5 mil coming in the next auction so I had to clear some money space lol

@ichigo That's impressive! How much time did it take you to get that built up? I've been working on it seriously since about June last year, only at 7k in payout right now

I've been playing since 2006, that helps lol. I got into seriously collecting and building a show herd around 2015, I've been over 250kish since the daily payout rolled out

Now that GMTs cost less than the 60 stall barns I used to by 1/2/3 of every month, And I’ve decided to limit my growth, I can finally start buying GMTs!

Foal missing gene I wanted? No problem!
Too many colts? Make some mares!
Wanna spruce up a foundation? Cool! Might take a bit to save up, but can do.

It’s awesome.

@ichigo Thats a serious goal for me! I'll be hoarding show horses from now on :))

@paradoxpheonix So glad you can do that! It sure makes things more fun, I'm on the #2 problem, too many colts lol not enough mares :))

Ugh, be careful with your hoarding habits. I was almost at 20k horses mid last year and it was RIDICULOUS to keep track of breeding and getting more stalls... ugh. I've emptied down to 14k and hopefully I drop some more, I'd like to be below 10k by July

I found that when I reached 350k/day my gameplay kind of sucked.

There wasn’t any excitement saving up for a new xyz (I’m weird that I enjoy figuring out what I want to buy, how much and how long it will take me to get there) and my barns were so disorganized and cluttered.

Over the last few months I’ve cleaned out a bunch of horses and got my daily bonus down to 159k (goal is current 100k because I think that 3million a month is still too much). It’s crept up to 170 this last month but I haven’t gone through my show barn to thin it out yet as I’ve been off and on sick since the first weekend in January and sleeping a lot.

My hj2 account is still in the 350k/day range. At least twice a month I empty 5-6 million out of my bank and into IV’s but I don’t have much to spend the 2,500 IV’s I have saved up. I have more than enough barns and enough fancy GMT’d foundations they are practically coming out my ears. Hoping by next month I will have cleared my To Do list for my HJ1 barn and I will start to knock off my HJ2 to do list.

I feel that too. There's a point where you're too big and you just throw everything in the pasture and hit go. I wasn't excited about individual foals I'd get or which mares were breeding better than others. Now I actually have a color line that I'm working on and am excited for (CHOCOLATE!) as well as the (FINALLY DOWN TO) 500 broodmares that make my show army. I cull excessively, and have to put a lot of effort in now to make sure I'm only keeping quality breeding stock, it's more about quality and not quantity now, and it gives me more of a life! But still makes for some work every month to pluck out what's not working.

I wish I could do this too, but my primary goals are to start a show barn and breed the perfect mate for my favoritest mare. so that she can give me adorable babies.

Well, I have been on holidays and haven't got to a computer. In my absence I hit the cap, so I just bought a huge bunch of IV's.

Wow, thats so many! I'v been working pretty hard on my show herd this month and finally get around 10k payout, with the price drop I too have been able to get a GMT here and there with IV's instead of real money like I have been (and is no longer an option for me) and was trying to save up a bit for my project mares, though I am also trying to save for another bigger show barn as well this month so I'm not sure how far I will get! Your still farther than I am @kgstable as I only have 6 so far this month with everything els ( breeding bills,pasture breeding,horse creating.....ect) and getting more Show Horses is still Always A Need for me lol, one of my goals is to get my payout to 15k somehow and someway! Anything helps if someone has any extra show horses! I have such bad luck with the auction, lol!

I still haven't done any breeding this season, but have just purchased another 20 GMT's. I also purchased a bunch of 1% & 5% boosts.
