Layout - Color Contrast
  • Hi,

The blue and white in the new layout is too bright and too much contrast and really hurting my eyeballs. Is there any way I can change the colors to at least mute it some, if not turn it off or change it to some type of greyscale to match the side panel?

Also side question, is there a way to hide the side panel or make it slimmer? It takes up so much space that I'm having to scroll over to the side to see the middle column.

I looked and I guess I must be the only one having issues with this, because I did not see questions about this or anyone mentioning the new layout. I apologise in advance if this is a duplicated issue/question.

    Thank you.
  • If you have Firefox or Opera as your browser, there's an extension called Dark Mode. Its icon is a crescent moon with 3 stars, and it says "A global dark theme for the web". The author is Bernard. It comes with many different options. It's what I use since I have problems with light sensitivity.

It comes with a toggle button that you can use to turn it on/off. I use this extension a lot.

  • Oh, thank you, I was able to find Dark Mode for Chrome that does that. It is not ideal, but better than it was before. Hoping for a solution that's just based on here if possible though?
  • You're welcome. I don't think that would be possible for the game itself to have ... a muted version or something because it would mean more coding work, and Ammit already has done a lot of recoding. And having third party programs like Dark Mode does the job.
  • I don't know if this is relevant for you, but the colours of the new layout is less harsh on the eyes with True Tone turned off.

On new phones and some laptops, TT is often standard, and have to be manually switched off
  • I'm on a laptop and I checked, it does not have True Tone at all.
