You'd have to create a loggin for the server and it can be the same (most of us do that) or create a new name/unique loggin.
It acts like a new account in the sense you have to work from the ground up. Its just something else to play on in case you have seperate goals.
Like for example, on bluegrass I breed mostly lined horses & stable show horses. On Mesa, Im starting an exceptionally producing rabicano herd.

You don't have to join them if you dont want to, but its something unique Ammit & Haystack have done for us to keep us entertained (cause they're awesome!!)
