Yes, a "homozygous brown" (At/At) Herd Helper requires a copy of E and one copy of either sooty or Dp to actually test as "brown."

E At/a horses will test as brown regardless of darkening factors, though.

If the end result is E, At/At or At/a, sty/sty, then yep!

(You should check out silver browns & silver brown pearls, too!)

Silver Buckskins lol Silver Blues Silver Bay ; they come in all colors
but yes best is to narrow it down for a while
