He we be able to breed at the next roll over.

Please say something if the mare is too high priced.

Kintara knows the game. If she sold it at 3k, it's not going to be worth 100k. ;)Thanked by 1Abbey98

Agreed with Gael, but weren't you also advised about selling horses at huge profits last week?Go boldly, where no App has gone before!
-
Sorry about that. Thought would be higher since sooty
-
Changed price. Sorry still learning.

If it should be higher, then the original seller would have had her higher. :)
The only people who may sell a horse seriously undervalued are brand new players, not the ones that have been here for a few years. (If they've been here a few years, and have a level five, and are active on the forum, it's not going to happen.)
And the brand new players aren't very likely to get anything worth six figures. I've seen new players sell off a brindle too cheaply once or twice, but keep in mind I've been playing here 9 years. Seeing that happen like twice in 9 years makes it a very rare thing....you aren't going to make a living finding and reselling those horses.
And trust me, if you're selling a horse you didn't breed, the first thing everyone does is look to see when you bought it and for how much. Very few people are just going to hand you any serious profit. -
Thank you for the help. What would be the right price range for horses who carry these genes. I want to learn so this don't happen again.

Im not trying to make a profit off of re selling horses, I didnt want an inconsistent in my herd that is second generation. I try to breed for consistent B/red papered or higher with a bonus of KP. Thank you for all of the advice. :)

There is no price range dependent wholly on genes. Papers matter. Papers in the pedigree matters. The colors in the pedigree vs. the horse matter. PT's matter. Length of pedigree matters. Length of pedigree vs. papers in pedigree matters. Balance of pedigree matters. Showing record, if there is one, can matter. Exactly what matters, and to what degree, varies depending on which buyer is looking at the horse. But you can have the most awesome genetic combo in the game, but if everything else is sub par, you'll be lucky to move it at all.
The best way, IMO, to do sales is to either put them in the private auction, or auction them here on the forum. That way, people tell you exactly what they are willing to spend on that particular horse.
The only thing I really put on the sales board myself are foundies or, rarely, simple second gens in popular colors if it's something I just don't need.
But I never sell something because I consider it inferior stock. If it's not good enough for me, I don't consider it good enough for anyone. Those I'd just alter and toss in the public auction.

Thank you. The last thing I want to be known for is trying to make easy HB, selling bad sock, or over pricing. I will geld the colt and place him in the auction. You guys are all so kind and understanding.
