Rank 5: True Breeding Silver Black

All horses will be homozygous for black and silver, and recessive for bay. They may also have other genes.

Rank 3: Heterozygous Brown

All horses will be at least heterozygous for the brown gene, but might also have any other bay gene that might hide it. They may have red or black base colors.

All horses will be Chestnut Rabicano. They may also have additional rare genes, and may be solid or patterned.

Rank 1: Homozygous Rec. Bay

All horses will be homozygous recessive (aa) for the bay gene. They may have red or black base colors, but will not be bay or brown. Possible colors include chestnut, black, red dun, grullo, palomino, smokey black etc. Horses might be patterned or solid.
