So lets say I have a horse and I sell it to someone. They then put a Tack Pack on it that I do not have and then I buy the horse back from them. Would that horse have the Tack Pack on it or does it get removed when I buy the horse back? I know this is probably a silly question but I’m very curious to know. Thanks!

It wont get removed ; but am not sure why you would do that?

It will eventually delete the tack you don't have, when the image refreshes. So if you reroll the portrait, chnage a tack item or if its an appy or gray, because their pictures change yearly.

They should still have the tack! I have bought horses and they have tack on that I haven't bought but it still stays on them.

Any time put on a horse from a tack pack you do not own will be removed the very first time the image updates. No, you can't get around tack pack ownership requirements by doing this.

annismyrph - You’re not sure why you do what? If you mean sell a horse to someone to put a tack pack on it then because there’s a Tack Pack that I’m wanting to see what it looks like on one of my horses but I do not own that tack pack.

Ammit - So then I’m guessing that my Axiom horse that I was gifted is going to lose his background at some point?

@harmonyC If you do not own the tack pack, yes it'll reroll I guess next breeding season rollover when portraits change (for appy and greys) - or if you manually reroll the horse or your stable.

Well that’s a bummer! My Axiom’s background is so perfect for him but I do not own the Tack Pack that his background is in. Well guess I’ll start looking for a new background for him. Such a Bummer!

cissycat - So I’ve noticed! I did trade in my Basic Upgrade for 7 IVs but I only have 1 IV left now. I went a little crazy buying new tack packs. I must say that the “This is Halloween” one is my absolute favorite so far. I have it on both accounts on this server and also on my account on the Forest server.

A thing I've noticed is backgrounds do not go away. I've have many, many, many a times updated a portrait with a background I don't have and it'll always be there time and time again. With an image reroll I think it most likely will go away, but with a simple image refresh it stays. Actual tack for the horse disappears both ways though.

If you invest in show horses you will have more money and IVs then you will know what to do with.
