    My recipient wants a gene that they do not have. I can get it in the GM mod but it is restricted. Will I be able to give them this horse?

    Yes, when the gift exchange goes into gift giving mode, there will be a place on the gift exchange page for sending horses anonymously to your giftee. This feature also transfers any gene licenses the horse has to the recipient.

    Perfect. I didn’t know if they only worked if you purchase the gene with $ instead of gene mod.
