I love this guy. I created a lot of horses before rolling him and I love the way Ice20 looks on him. I was thinking of adding DP to him originally, but once I put the Ice20 on him I realized how dark he already is and now I'm afraid that DP will darken him so much that it lessons the visibility of the water spots. Thoughts? Is he ready to go make babies or should I add DP or even something else that would really make him pop. Adding DP is always my go to because I like dark horses, but I'm not sure it is the right move for this guy.

I personally would, just because his foals could get it then, but I breed for DP.

Ice 20 shows up fine even on blacks. :)

I think that it would be ok and the water spots should show up still. My boy has DP(also soon to be Hom) and has Ice 20 on a black base and you can certainly see the spots on him(is Het Champagne too though)! Your guy is lovely as is too!

Thank you! :x If you click his link he's a bit darker now that he is Hom DP and I can't wait to start breeding this month either! :D
