Lined horses - easy questions for you :)

    Which horses are considered lined ones ? All the horses that are not foundation horses ?
    Is a 1st generation horse a horse born from foundation horses ?
    How is a horse considered if the breeding is between a 1st (or 2nd, 3rd, ...) generation horse and a lined horse got in auction ?

    All Foundation horses are Generation 1 ; anything after that is "lined"
    evenly bred horses make for a nicer pedigree and are gen 1 to gen 1 gen 2 to gen 2 etc etc
    "uneven" can work as a bootstrap if you use a Higher PT ( also lined ) scored sire to foundation mares and then breed his daughters back to him ; the boys you would geld and use for your basics in your show herd
