Could someone please give me a quick run down on straw collection? Does collecting negatively affect a stallions breeding that season? Is there a limit to how many you can collect in a season or over a horses lifetime. Is there a limit on how many you can hold? Do they get deleted after a certain period of time?

Collecting straws does not affect the total number of breedings for a stallion.

I THINK the total number of straws you can put at one time is 500, but I've never tried!

If there is a limit on how many straws your freezer can hold no one has ever mentioned it.

Straws stay around forever, even if you drop your upgrade for a month or so, when you come back they will still be there.

You CAN set an expiration date on straws, so you should alwasy ask, or check with the seller just to be sure.

Basic upgrade you can have 100 straws per stud ; i THINK premium has the 500 limit, as Confluence said.

To clarify, the 100 limit doesn’t seem to mean “per account”- it’s per stud. So if you buy a stud whose previous owner saved 400 straws from him, you won’t be able to pull straws from him if you have a basic upgrade.
