Yeah you want to make sure it's sustainable.

The general ratio to sustain your stable is half the amount of breeding horses as you have showing horses, or a ratio of 1:2. For every breeding horse you have, you should try to have at least two decent show horses. That keeps the daily hbs coming in and sustains your barn as you grow.
