Question on DFP2

    I just bred this girl who fits the bill for showing primitive markings (a copy of true Dun and a DFP2 gene)... wondering why she's not showing the primitive markings... I know I'm probably missing something...

    It's because she is an nd1 grullo. That breaks DFP genes for some reason.

    So if I was able to take off the ND1, it'll show the markings? (Unfortunately I'm not able to since dad is nd1/ONX, but genuinely curious)

    You should be able to mod on onx can't you mod for any gene the dam/sire has?

    Other: everything but SPM and jewel
