Thanks! I've been wanting ice 5 but thought I'd have to wait for it to come up in the gene sales... I guess now I can just start looking for some straws. :)

@ClassicCreations Nope, that would defy the point of there being licenses. But not all the ice genes require licenses. I always knew ice 1 was an open gene, but I just learned now that ices 5 and 8 are as well, so they are available to anyone who wants to buy horses or straws/eggs from other players who did buy the genes for their foundations. The ices just aren't regular creatable genes, so the only way they come into the game on foundation horses is through purchase.
