Question on leaderboards
-
I have a question on how the Top Producing
Mare is calculated. I know it is based on averages. I thought it was based on the average of her foals, but I dont think that is entirely true,
I was looking at the Era 0 boards and the top mare has foal averaging 13.48, however the second place is 14.01? Even the 4th place has a foal average equaling more
Can someone enlighten me? -
I’m pretty sure I remember either Ammit or Confluence stating that the Top Producing categories of the boards are a combination of a lot of different factors and not just the AFPT.I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!Thanked by 1Ammit

number of foals factor into it ; you need 10 i think to even be considered for the boards ; so if the 13,0 has only 10 foals and the 14.0 has 20 ; the first mare is still a better producer based on the number of foals on ground
-
It is 3 foals for mares to be considered for leaderboards and 20 or 25 for stallions I believe. Other factors besides AFPT are involved, unseen things that are involved beyond what we test for.Thanked by 1Nightphoenix

Yup! Exactly. If it was only AFPT then you would actually be half
measuring how good the stallion you bred the mare to was. ;)Need to contact me? Read this first.

got it. It makes sense now!
Next question is, do auctioned foals count towards the AFPT even if they get archived?Post edited by Ambervalleyarabians at 2021-12-21 06:52:23 -
AFPT does not count towards the LB but all foals with a record still in the game count towards AFPT.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Sorry if this sounds redundant, I'm just clarifying.... foals "in game" include archived foals?
Ok... scenario.... I have a stallion with with 2 foals. His current AFPT is 10.2. (foals are 0.1 & 10.3). I auction off the 10.1 and foal is not bought. does this foal go to archive or is removed from the game?
If foal goes to archive, does the AFPT remain 10.2? If the foal is not archive, will his AFPT reverts to 10.4? -
It's either sold to another player or sent to the Archive, or it MIGHT go to the Lined rescue. Those are the only three options, I think.

You can sell a foal back to the game directly to prevent any chance of it being purchased or archived. Archived horses are still in the game and still count as descendants.Need to contact me? Read this first.
