Edited to say that yes some (most) of the horses on that list have sooty but it’s still a champagne thing here’s an example without sooty

To my mind, the fact that classic champagnes usually have dark dapples rather than light makes them especially good looking.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2021-12-27 16:14:40

That's a classic champagne with reverse dapples. It looks amazing with chinchilla.
I think I showed you some examples in this post too:

Classic champagne has a different kind of dappling than normal dappling :)I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!

If you look at these horses individually you ll see the ones with Your horses Genotype are "dappled" add any other gene and the dapples "disapear ":)

Dapples are from sooty. Sometimes horses are not dappled in the winter but there dapples show up in summer. Champagne gives off a reverse dapple when combined with sooty.ID# 274513Thanked by 1Fiddler
