Question about Dun Factor 1&2

    Hello! Just a quick question, does DFP1 and/or 2 show with nd1 if there's no other Dun gene?
    If a horse is nd1/nd1 and -/DFP2 (or DFP1) will the Dun factor show?
    I tried doing a search with horses but there was a ton to sort through and wanted to make sure I understand correctly.

    No, ND1 sort of takes away from it. I have seen DFP2 show with nd1/D.

    You need Dun. I kicked nd1 out of some lines because of this.

    DFP1 works with onyx, but DFP2 requires at least one true dun to show.
