    I loved playing this game years ago . I double boosted most everything and was extremely proud to have a few 2nd generation gold mares and star stallions. Then my lines started 3rd generation gold and star, which was good too. Then I couldn't get golds and stars until 4th generation.

    I think that is why I took a break because my expectations of my lines went out the window.

    I have decided I need to retrain my brain to be happy just breeding non boosted horses and probably not even test for paper grades.

    I am trying hard to get back into the game but without retraining my brain all I see is paper levels LOL

    I still care about paper levels and even breeding! I expect Gold/Star by 4-5gen and it’s made playing more fun!

    I'm with Sharayah, I've gotten a few Gold/Star 4th gens and now I require it. It's more fun to me! But I don't play with boosted stock at all.

    Don't do boosted, just a gradual increase in paper level. Play for some pretty ponies without obsessing too much on papering.

    Now tell me to mind my own business - play your way. ;)

    I don't do boosted lines either. I start with C/Yellow and B/Red for the most part, and I've managed to get some Stars and Golds at 4th gen, but I do not require that until 5th gen. I do require all my 3rd gens to be A and Blue for breeding stock. I also comp test all my breeding stock to their parents and keep only the superior ones. Rest are turned into show horses.
