    Hey there!

    I have a question about the frame mutation (lethal white) in real life.
    Is it true that, in order to appear as white spots on the horse coat, the frame allele needs another concomitant white pattern?

    It seems to need something to boost it, though what form that something takes is pretty hard to pin down as most mutations are untestable. Frame can be completely hidden.
