Does this make sense?

I was wanting grey reduction (hom) on my horses and then adding satin, but wouldn't it be cheaper to use a sasa horse and add Grey reduction? (Assuming the 2 horses would have the identical genetics when done.)
-
Yes it’d be cheaper to start with a sa/sa horse since a copy of satin costs 20 GMTs and a copy of grey reduction costs 10 GMTs. I don’t think there’s currently a HH with two copies of satin though? I know there’s a hom gr one

HH with satin: Poppy White, Satin Party Dress, Shimmer Glimmer, Strike A Pose
HH with gr: Need to Calm Down -
Thank you, Redtail, I appreciate it. Now I need to go horse shopping again and empty my pocketbook.
