I think you just need a lot more horses. I have about 10,000 horses in barns and my daily payout is holding at about 400,000 HBs, even though I often auction 10+ year olds to make room for foals. My payout might be higher if I were more discerning with the show horses I keep, but I've never gotten around to being strategic with that. I keep everything, all generations, all PTs, intact and altered, consistent and inconsistent, unless I need room for foals and then I go through my 10-year-old fantasy spays/gelds first (because they're never on any leaderboards for me) and work my way through least important to most important eras from there. Everything is on autoshow and I really don't think about my show horses.

I keep just about everything cause I'm a hoarder but auction off those over 10 who are not pulling their weight (level off in a bad spot). I'm working towards building up a larger show team. I've been at the 300k range right now for some time, but have slacked a lot on here lately.

kg, something that was drummed into my head when I first started here ... PT Score doesnt affect "breedability", so Hopefully you arent culling your breeding stock based on that 10.6 PT. I try to keep everything that does not pass SBA that is 2g or above 7g, I also was keeping everything that tested HOM for snowflake for show stock. For some reason I remember 100k being a super hard bump to get over.. it could be becuase you are battling for space between the breeding stock and the show stock. Once i got my 3rd 1k barn it became much easier to start to climb the HB trail. I do not cull for PT or consistant/ inconsistant , as I ve found a mix of numbers earns best for me and con vs incon generally evens out it in the end. I only cull show horses if they are 10 or older and have less than 500points. I did to bump up my earnings a little quicker.. buy horses from Foundation Rescue that were 9 and hang on to them for the month, then auction them at 10 for their full payout when I was hurting for "cash".

Normally the barns that make the most money per day arn't the best optimized. They just have the most horses. I easily got an account to 500k by just breeding tons and tons of foals and keeping them. No strategy or culling involved. Just raw numbers.

Don't forget you can go to the HH forum for horses to create. Anything that says Perfect will give you a higher pt, as well as some of the Rank Specials.

I think someone found out a while back that Exceptional Show Horses aren't necessarily all 10.4, but are always better than 9.9. Only Exceptionally Perfect is guaranteed to always be 10.4?
