Owner notes
-
How do I get my "owner notes" to set out as dot points, add bold or colours etc?
Having a little trouble.Wyanawah - 216219 -
You have to use html coding in the text box to get those features. I'm not sure how complicated you can get with it, though from what I have seen on other players notes, it will take a little more than the html capabilities on this forum program. I do know that it will support text colors and bold, though I'm not sure whether you can create unordered lists (tech speak for those "dot points").
If you're not familiar with html coding, you can find some fairly easy tutorials on the basics with any search engine.Thanked by 1Wyanawah -
Thank you :)
Not actually after "dot points" more being able to make them using *, at the minute when I try and space out my sentences by pressing enter (like on here) it looks good in the edit box, but all blocks together on the actual page.Wyanawah - 216219 -
Thank you again SandyCreek, I've just managed to get my first one right!Wyanawah - 216219

Ah, you have to remember to put in the line breaks [br], using the proper symbols in place of the square brackets to shift to a new line. And [p] to create a new paragraph with a blank space between the lines.
And I believe that apostrophes can break things in the notes, so it's best not to use them.Thanked by 1Wyanawah -
I am not sure how to change color, but some simple html codes are below:
<> around br is line break
and around p is paragraph break
around b at the start and /b at the end of words your want in bold
around u at the start and /u at the end of words your want underlined
around i at the start and /i at the end of words your want in italicPost edited by Visions at 2015-07-17 07:01:30
