If you put the # sign, it will automatically substitute the horse's id number for the # sign.HAJ 1 - WhiteValley #60847 HAJ 3 - minimum #175

Have you tried the "Bulk " naming editor on the bottom of the barn page? Just click the horse.. go to the bottom of the page and try to rename it sometimes that works better for me.
