The search feature of the game has had a substantial change. Now instead of unchecking a gene if you wish to exclude it you can much more clearliy specify what you want.

Each gene has 3 options

Default: Ignore this gene entirely. Do not filter based on it.
Must Have: Horse must have at least one copy of this gene
Must Not Have: Horse can not have any copies of this gene.

By using these in combination you can get the search to look for any number different gene combinations.

Here is sabino for example:
Search 1
"Sabino" in the "Color Name" field will return all horses with sabino in the name

Search 2
"Must have" for Kitsb1 will only return sabino horses with at least one copy of Sabino 1

Search 3
"Must have" for Kitsb1 and "Must have" Kit will return horses with one copy of sabino 1 and one wild type copy of Kit.

Search 4
"Must have" for Kitsb1 and "Must not have" for Kit will return horses with one copy of sabino 1 and one copy of any other kit mutation

Search 5
"Must have" for Kitsb1 and "Must have" for Kitsb3 will return horses with one copy of sabino 1 and one copy of sabino 3

Search 6
"Must have for Kitsb1 and "Must not have" for all other kit genes will return only homozygous Kitsb1 horses.
