in his first year at stud!

We here at Silver Wings Tavern Farms remember the first day we met this gorgeous White 1 Black colt. He was a fresh, unnamed two year old who greeted nearly everyone with a squeal and much tossing of his stubby mane. Alianne took a special interest in him when she saw how fiery he was and quickly settled into the arduous task of naming this bundle of energy. Snow Rebellious is a play-on-words rendition of "So Rebellious" and suited him just fine. The name stuck and so did he.

Despite his unimpressive stature, a whopping 14.2 hands, "Rebel" has been treated as family. We love him not only for his Consistent showing prowess but also for the lovely blanket of faded black across his hindquarters and shoulders. His once ragged mane has since grown out into a wonderful waterfall of shimmery tresses. Unlike some ponies, he adores ribbons tied in his silky mane and tail and will prance around his paddock, neck arched, showing off for all the world to see.

So come, add a little rebellion to your barn this December and ring in the New Year with fiery offspring to keep you on your toes!
