This is what I get for breeding a pasture while being really tired and not paying a lot of attention.
I didn't realize until too late that I had put a 6th gen stallion in my 5th gen mare pasture.

Now I have 22 foals I will have to consider what to do with. I prefer to keep pedigrees even in my lines, yet I don't want to waste a whole breeding season because of that one blooper.

show ponies are never a waste :) geld and spay them all and show 'em :)

Breed them all to lined stallys!

I'll second Compass Point - uneven lined horses make great show horses. :D

It's up to you but I do agree show ponies are always worth it. Personally I'd keep any mares that passed SMA and SAT then breed them to the best *Star stud you can to make show ponies. I have a bunch of old line mares and other random Gold mares and some uneven lined mares I use just to make more show ponies.

I was going through my 5th gen girls foals from pasture this year and realized that all of last years foals were with a 4th gen stud... easy done! Made sorting through last years foals easy- snip snip snip :D I did wonder at the time why the PT's were lower than expected....
