Looking buy or brood out, i have a few high pt studs that never get bred since i dont have the right mares yet. Current public broods are untested & usually throw a 12pt from a 13.3/13.7 combo.

You know that PT score does not affect breeding capability, correct?

Lena, but higher PT mares (like 13+) will still throw higher scores than a foundation mare, for instance.

@bravo25, I have some left, but I leave my high PT girls untested to add to my show string. I’ve had several produce 13+

True, but looking at generation levels, AFPT, and paper levels if available are usually much better indicators.

@Sharayah Id happily try those ladies out. I prefer tested and true, but if theyve proven ability to produce over 13pt id be interested. Send me a message with your ladies and prices please :)
@Lena Im breeding for higher PT show foals, and hopefully a few intact foals.
True, score doesnt always imply breeding potential, but my best pairs have come from outting like to like, quality to quality, and avoiding bootstrapped horses.
