:x Thank you! Maybe I should try rerolling her a few times. I think what was throwing me off is that she seems a little lighter than your girl and her son. Though she is definitely darker than most het DP. I had this het DP filly who is pretty dark.

Your girl definitly is a homo DP choc palomino, congratulations!
And I SH Double Cream is also a hom DP choc (so her mom is also a DP carrier!).

Why? If you go through Bambi207 choc pals for example, you see 2 different shades that they can have: a more golden creamy, more palomino like shade, like Free Bunny, the example Bambi showed.
Just like liver chestnuts, if they are homo DP they get a whole different shade. In chestnuts they look like black chestnuts, with palominos they look a lot more dark, almost brown/greyish with just a hints of cream on their belly. Their heads, topline and legs are much darker.

Ofcourse, with any coat color there is some slight variation in darkness of the coat, that's why SH Double Creme is a bit tricky. But open her page in 1 tab and for example Free Bunny's page in another and switch between them and you'll clearly see the difference in their 'base' coat color.

Ask, @Peachtree, the background on Double Creme is throwing her color out of whack a little.
