Assuming no crossover. I have been working on a breeding experiment showing gene linkage for the past couple of seasons, but haven't posted my results yet.

You are correct! And also, you are correct that this is assuming no crossover as there is generally a 4-7% chance of crossover in real life KIT genetics.

Crossover is a phenomenom that happens during the meiosis (making cells for reproduction so has as much DNA). At the point when DNA is collected into the tightly wound chromosomes, the two pairs (one each from sire and dam) can have their "arms" tangle up and pieces of DNA from one chromosome can get swap with the allele in the same locus of another. The closer together two loci are, the lower the chance of DNA crossing over. Extension and KIT are close enough that they usually don't cross, but you do see it happen about 4-7% of the time. For example, using the above question #1.

No crossing over, you get:
Blue Roan Tobiano (Ee aa KitTOKitR) X Red (ee aa)
50% Ee aa KitTo black tobiano
50% ee aa KitR red roan

Taking into account the possibility of 4% crossover, you get:
1) Blue Roan Tobiano (Ee aa KitTOKitR) X Red (ee aa)
48% Ee aa KitTOKit black tobiano
48% ee aa KitRKit red roan
2% Ee aa KitRKit blue roan
2% ee aa KitTOKit red tobiano
