    So I understand that you can only GMT a horse to have alleles that its parents have, but how does it work for foundation horses who don’t have parents?

    Foundations can be GMT'ed with whatever is available in the GMT lab or you can buy from the Roving Gene Sale

    Except for their height or bone weight, which can only be GMT'd to creatable values: 13.2hh to 16.2hh; .75 to (I think) 3.25.

    Colorwise, anything goes with foundations ;)
